Attack in Houston
Houston Police Department reported that on November 11, 2025, a man identified as Derick Brandon (44) was charged with aggravated assault of a family member and felon-in-possession of a weapon. The victim was his father-in-law, Jerry Rossi (67). The incident occurred at 10241 Azalea Village in Houston. 
• Payne was transported to hospital in “stable condition”. 
• Derick is still on the run at the moment(according to the HPD anyone with useful information about his known location will be rewarded)
